Coach Brian Gallagher
Brian has over 30 years coaching experience, which has
included Amateur Athletic Union coaching in Phoenix, Arizona, Masters, U.S.A
Swimming and High School coaching here in Blaine County. Since 1994 Brian has
coached countless Blaine County youth, some of whom have gone on to competitive
college swimming.
His accomplishments as a coach include FOUR consecutive Wood River High School
Girls State Championship wins, Snake River Swimming Coach of the Year (twice),
Idaho High School Swimming Coach of the Year (twice), and the USA Swimming
Outstanding Service and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Brian has been a competitive swimmer since a young age. He is also an excellent
Masters swimmer and has consistently placed at or near the top in many U.S.
Masters competitions, including a new Division record in the U.S. Masters Maui
Channel Swim Relays.
His focus today continues to be on local swimmers, young and old.
